I was watching Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium last night with my family. It starred Dustin Hoffman and Natalie Portman. It wasn’t a particular great film, but it did have a few bright moments. One of the things I liked about it was the toy store. It was exactly what a toy store should be — crowded with imaginative, entertaining, and wonderful toys.
And of course, that got me to thinking about Christmas, my favorite time of year. Here we are, about mid-way through the year and before we know it we’ll begin to see TV commercials about all the holiday stuff on sale. Each I promise myself to slow down and joy the time, but do I listen? Nope.
