Heavy Equipment Training

Heavy Equipment TrainingHonestly, I had no idea they had such a thing as a heavy equipment training school. I figured anyone who operated such machinery just learned on the job. But the fact that there’s an organized approach to learning such things, I’m sure it makes for safer and more efficient results all around.

Associated Training Services is a heavy machinery school that includes training on what you and I only see as we’re driving by construction areas: trucks, bulldozers, excavation equipment and more. They’re a company that has been doing this sort of thing for 16 years over its 40-year operation.

According to the U.S. Department of Labor, the heavy equipment industry is showing no signs of slowing down. Makes sense when you think about it because it touches so many other industries.

Their training programs cover a variety of heavy equipment that provide hands-on education in real-life scenarios. They also offer a nationwide job placement service that includes 1600 employers.

Programs are broken down into three levels, the first of which gives an overview of what students can expect when working with heavy equipment. As the students advance to the next two levels, not only are they increasing their knowledge and skills, but they’re also expanding their job opportunities.
