Who hasn’t heard of Cher, the singer who just doesn’t quit? I remember watching her on TV when I was a kid on the Sonny and Cher show. From there she moved to the big screen and now she’s moving to the big stage.
Cher has been singing and captivating audiences for more than four decades. Her latest endeavor is a new stage show at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. She’ll be replacing Celine Dion, another world famous singer.
She’s no stranger to adversity as she’s had struggles of her own over the years. But even so, I think it says a lot about someone when they refuse to give in to their challenges, and instead overcome them. That’s exactly what Cher has done with herself and has inspired others to be through her music.
Her Vegas show will include singing and dancing beginning May 6, 2008. In additional to incredible, eye-popping costumes and choreography, they also promise never-before-seen things done with sets. For example, they’ll have the sets moving in from all sides, even from the ceiling and floor. They’ll also be able to change a set from a city to a forest in a matter of seconds. Plus, to keep things interesting (as if they already wouldn’t be), they’ll have a different set used for each song. Sounds that the audience will be in for a treat.
