I was watching Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium last night with my family. It starred Dustin Hoffman and Natalie Portman. It wasn’t a particular great film, but it did have a few bright moments. One of the things I liked about it was the toy store. It was exactly what a toy store should be — crowded with imaginative, entertaining, and wonderful toys.
And of course, that got me to thinking about Christmas, my favorite time of year. Here we are, about mid-way through the year and before we know it we’ll begin to see TV commercials about all the holiday stuff on sale. Each I promise myself to slow down and joy the time, but do I listen? Nope.

Toys are cool. No matter the age of the person, there will always be that kid in all of us who gets excited when they see a toy that means something to them. There’s no doubt in my mind that Novelty Figures Daily Blog delivers this excitement to its readers.
Toys, these days, have really benefited from the technology that’s used to make them. If you haven’t picked a toy off the shelf lately to see the artistry, then you can see it in the photos that are used in every post.
The layout of the blog is clean and easy on the eye. Images are used appropriately because they’re about the products being written about or highlighted.
The types of toys being highlighted appear to be whatever gets caught in the spotlight, which means if you don’t care for one toy character, you’re sure to find one that you will in another post. They range from comic book characters, to ones you find on video games, movies and television.
The only thing I’d recommend is to provide some sort of information in every post and not just let the images speak for themselves. A minor detail that’s easily addressed.
