I don’t think there’s one among us who hasn’t wondered what the “big plan” is for us. Or hasn’t longed to just find the answers that would bring sense and order into our little corner of the world. Each of us, in our own way, seek Life’s instruction manual to help guide us to where we need to be or how to find our way back from darker times.
Living Within Samsara is an educational blog that could be a resource for that quest.
Samsara invites her readers to join her on a journey to find meaning in one’s self and to bring balance to their daily lives. By exploring what may seem to be unrelated themes, she’ll examine earthly issues like codependency, spiritual concepts and metaphysical needs.
Being open about her recovery from alcoholism, Samsara shares her experiences and her advice so that others may benefit. In addition to writing about the well-known Alcoholics Anonymous program, she’s able to inject a little of her own struggles in other posts such as Astral Dream Dark Presence and Done with Alcoholics Anonymous. In fact, I’d say this latter post of hers is a testament to how she continues to break free from the embrace of alcoholism by informing her readers how her AA group failed to meet their objectives. It takes a strong person to not only identify something like that, but to also act on it by deciding to leave the group and seek help elsewhere.
Other topics she covers are:
I really like Samsara’s writing style. Her posts are thoughtful and well-written. And I appreciate her willingness to help others.
A few suggestions would be worth considering:
- Move the RSS subscription button to the top of the right nav.
- And speaking of the right nav, there’s a lot going on, particularly with the ads. I’m wondering if they’re getting clicks being far down the page on the articles I visited. Perhaps incorporate them further up the page.
- Maybe my eyes are getting tired or perhaps it’s my laptop monitor, but the contrast between the text and the brown background I think could be a little stronger for easier reading.
Nothing really major; just minor suggestions that if not acted on won’t be damaging.
Why not click on over to Living Within Samsara and check out the informative posts that are there?

Who doesn’t love a picture of a cute, little furry face? Honestly? Some cause you to laugh, while others bring forth an “Awwww”.
Over at Forest’s Blog About Animals you’ll find plenty of such photos and stories. In fact, he’ll even accept photos of your pets and blog about them.
Some of the stories will be proof enough that your pet isn’t so abnormal after all, while others may leave you thinking they need a little more time in the training department. For example, there’s one post entitled, “Possibly the world’s dumbest dog?” It has a video that you have to see. Very funny!
Then there’s Bloggers Pets - Bailey the best dressed dog, a post about a blogger’s pet dog who, well, wears ties. And there’s the bizarre Panda burger incident that you just don’t expect to see at a restaurant.
Forest’s Blog About Animals is growing and welcomes your stories and photos of your pet fish, dog, cat, whatever it is that you snuggle up with on the couch. I’d recommend adding content to the About page to give readers more an idea of who the man behind the blog is. But I think the layout is just fine and not overpowering.
Give Forest’s blog a visit and maybe give your pet some fame by submitting in a picture or video.

When I signed up with SocialSpark, I was pleased to find the social aspect firmly in place. It’s very much geared toward having members interact with one another by leaving comments on profiles or sending messages to their inbox. There’s also a way for people to give a thumbs-up or thumbs-down that serves as a good motivator to do better with your blog as well as help people size up other people’s blog.
The home page gives you an immediate view of what opportunities are available and they do it a very cool way. There’s a section devoted to several opportunities represented by tiles. Some are small images of the blog or product in question, others (and I don’t know why) are just the default social flame mascot. By clicking through the tiles, you are able to quickly sift through them all the while being told if the opportunity is open and if your blog qualifies. The latter requires that you are a member and that you are logged in, of course.
Another thing that’s different about SocialSpark than it’s sister service, PayPerPost, is that you can reserve a spot for an opportunity. For those of you who have used PPP, you’ve no doubt experienced the frustration with finding the perfect opportunity for a great price, only to find out that there are no more slots to take. But with SocialSpark, you can reserve your spot and wait to be notified when it’s your turn. Currently, there’s no way of knowing when that might arrive, but you’re supposed to have 12 hours to create your post and submit it to receive credit.
Right now, I have quite a few opportunities I’ve signed up for, so I hope they don’t all come in at once.
Give them a try and if you do, be sure to pay my profile a visit and drop me a comment. I’d love to hear from you.

One of the major benefits that has come out of the Internet is how easy it is to make money online. It spawned a whole new industry of businesses and methods of advertising.
Additionally, it has made quite an impact on people’s personal lives as the Internet has given them a way to support their families by working from home. Mommy bloggers, daddy bloggers, teen bloggers — never has it been so easy to make money online.
IZEA, the makers of PayPerPost, have recently gone into alpha testing with SocialSpark, a service that provides opportunities for people to earn a little extra income. It’s different from PayPerPost in that it focuses more on the social aspect of being online and encourages interaction among their members.
I’ve recently joined this community and so far I have to say it looks pretty good. I can personalize my profile, add friends to my account, and easily keep up with their marketplace where I can find several opportunities to write.
With society today being so fast-paced, staying home with the kids while they’re still young is quite an attractive option. You can set your own hours and make new relationships online all within SocialSpark.
If making money online interests you, I suggest you look into SocialSpark.

Three new WordPress themes have come onto the scene today. And I must say, they look pretty good. They’re called PassionDuo.
Created by DesignSaurus, these themes sport a clean layout and attractive color schemes: red, blue, and green. They have rounded corners, are search engine optimized, and have plenty of space made for the 125×125 ads you’ve been wanting to post onto your blog.
Thanks for DailyBlogTips for providing this breaking news.
