More about the author
I’m Mark Sierra. I’m an author for a number of other blogs that cover a wide range of topics. My years of marketing experience make for revealing and engaging copy providing readers the right amount of information they need to decide if they want to know more about the products and services I write about. And my blogging experience is what makes my blogs stand out from the crowd because I show my readers that they are valued by encouraging and responding to their comments.
MeAndMyDrum, the flagship of my online presence, launched in Feburary 2007 and has been growing ever since. Topics range from blogging tips, software reviews, discussion on current events, and more. No matter what I write about there, you can be sure to find an interactive conversation going on. It is the most successful blog I have to date.
Family WebWatch is a blog about Internet safety and productivity. Parents who are involved with their child’s life should include what they do online as well. By learning of the dangers we all face on the Web and what we can do to protect ourselves, we can make using the Web a safer, more informative experience. Parents can also find entertaining and educational sites for kids.
Digital Journal is a news community where citizen journalists contribute news they find on the Web. Articles are voted on which help increase their rank. It’s a great way to get your news and comment on articles that stir your emotions.
BlogsWeLuv is the result of two wonderful bloggers, Mike Wheeler and Tish McQueen, who got together and decided to show a little love to blogs. Me and several other contributing writers put our own special touch on reviews of other blogs — blogs that deserve their day in the sun so that others may get to know them.
I’m also the creator of the Be The Blog award that has been floating around on the Internet. I’ve been thrilled seeing it make ripples far and wide.
Another badge I’ve been involved with — actually the first one I’ve been involved with — is the iReply Movement. It has seen a great deal of success, and just like BTB, there are pingbacks and comments that continue to hit my blog and those of my buddies’ who I teamed up with in its creation: Mike and Brown Baron.
