A Darn Good Look At Virginia Breeze
Virginia Breeze is a blog authored by David who lives, you guessed it, in Virginia. 
He gives a warm welcome to his readers by prominently posting the “about” section in the upper right of his blog for easy reference.
His blog has recently donned a new theme and I have to say it’s a step in the right direction. This new theme has a brighter look which is easy on the eyes.
After scanning his archives, it appears Virginia Breeze has been around since June of this year. During that time, there have been 600+ posts. So if my calculations are correct, that means you won’t find this blog collecting any dust.
And speaking of content, the most noticeable posts I found are the ones including his photography. They are simply awesome! Good job, David!
A bit of constructive criticism:
- The sidebar is a bit cluttered and is competing for attention with the posts. I recommend keeping the things that are most important and get rid of the rest.
- Speaking of the sidebar, BlogRush is sooo out of style.
- Jordin Sparks and Taylor Hicks I’m sure are nice people, but it’s not clear why they have been given such prime real estate in the top nav bar. ???
- Consider removing the Meta section in the sidebar. It really doesn’t serve a purpose.
All in all, I think David is off to a good start. He’s got the stamina for writing posts and he clearly enjoys what he does. That, for me, is a formula for success!
