A Darn Good Look At Traffikd

A Darn Good Look At TraffikdLooks like I found somebody who’s as busy as I am what with all the blogs Steven writes for: Vandelay Website Design, PureBlogging, Daily Blog Tips, Daily Bits, and Blogtrepreneur. I’m talking about the author behind Traffikd, an Internet marketing and social media blog that provides information for the blogger in all of us who want to know more about how to improve our online marketing efforts.

Categories include Linkbait, Making Money, Traffic Building to name a few. Looking over his posts, one called 5 Flaws of Social Media Traffic caught my eye. In a format I wish I saw more regularly on other blogs, Steven clearly separates the issue from the solution, so there’s no confusion of what is what. Plus, his solutions make sense.

Another informative post, Keys to Newsworthy Blog Posts, delivers a solid list of characteristics that you see with high-traffic bloggers. Then a list of approaches is offered so that you can walk away and implement them on your own blog. See a pattern here? He’s saying, “Here’s what’s going on” and then “Here’s what you can do about it.” When someone writes that way they’re sure to get through the hype, thus making for more satisfying reading.

And if you’re looking for a selection of social media/networking sites, take a gander at the collection he’s pulled together. Very thorough.

I couldn’t verify the age of the blog, but judging from the number of posts I saw, I’d say it’s relatively young. But even so, I think it’s off to a great start.

Wow, thanks for the great writeup! I’m very appreciative of the mention and the compliments. I’m glad you’ve found some content that you like, I’ll keep trying to produce more. The blog was actually launched almost exactly a month ago. Traffic at Traffikd has been all over the place so far, but I think if I can consistency produce good content the traffic levels will be more consistent.

@Steven
You’re very welcome! I’m glad you liked it, too. And no doubt, more quality content equals consistent traffic. Keep up the good work and if you feel so inclined, don’t forget about the specially coded button you can use to point to your review. :)
