If you’re the type who loves to capture things you find while browsing the web, need to write a note or a to-do list, likes to have your recipes within a click’s reach, then Springpad is for you. I’ve been using this free services for about six months now and love it! Why? Because it’s a great way for me to do the above and so much more.
I have a nook Color that I use to read and to use Springpad. So whenever I’m in the kitchen and want to bake something, I no longer have to hunt down the book to find the recipe it’s in. Now, I just fire up my nook and load Springpad to show me what I need to do. It saves time and space and the recipes are with me wherever I go with my nook. But even if I didn’t have my nook with me, I could use the app on my Android phone or just go online.
Springpad also has a Firefox add-on that allows you to create a variety of things at the click of a button. Let’s say you’re reading an article on a website that you want to read later. With Springpad, you can save a bookmark to your account and return when you have more time. No more cluttering up your browser’s toolbar with bookmarks. Or if you wanted to, you could drag your cursor over text in the article and save that selection in the note you create.
Choose from a variety of ways to organize your data: recipes, to-do lists, movies, shopping, create an alarm or contact, packing lists, and much, much more. Stores the items you create in notebooks and rearrange them to your heart’s content. All the information you need to take with you is actually with you no matter where you go with your tablet, phone, or a computer with internet access.
