A Darn Good Look at Confessions Of A Freeware Junkie

Confessions of a freeware junkie

How can you pass up a blog called Confessions of a Freeware Junkie? Honestly.

I was introduced to this blog earlier this year and made a point to visit it periodically to find the latest in free downloads. You can never have too many downloads, you know that, right? ;)

You’ll find tips aplenty for the how-to seeker, and links to great resources on the Web that will lead you to other great finds. According to a poll that ran on the blog, an overwhelming majority of the readers (which, btw, number almost 800 subscriptions as of this writing!) are IT admins and support personnel. So if you’re among them, this is the place for you.

Besides just offering reviews of software, you’ll also be given opinion to help you discern whether the software being reviewed will be worth your while. As the blog’s name says, the majority of the types of software being reviewed primarily focuses on freeware. However, on occasion, time-limited software and shareware will make it to the spotlight, but the main focus will always be the free stuff.

The layout is very easy on the eye making for a smooth read. Even the graphics used in posts are minimal and always serve a purpose and not used as window dressing.

There’s quite a selection of topics to choose from: scripting, record desktop or screen capture, productivity, and more.

Give a darn good look at Confessions of a Freeware Junkie and subscribe to his feed.

Mark! Thanks for the ‘Darn good review’! I really appreciate your time on the article, and I hope that others will visit DGR to find out about all the other great finds you come across.

Nice work – and I’ll be sure to proudly display my new badge this weekend!
